I have an upcoming trip to Honduras with Sparrow Missions in April. The purpose of this trip is to assist in building a school for children in an area of San Pedro Sula. I am also inviting area pastors to go with me to see the need in the area, and to consider having their churches in America partner with local churches in Honduras for missions and ministry opportunities.
I am committing to this trip without having the money to go, but believing that God wants me there. As I’ve been thinking through options to fund the trip, this came to mind…in a couple of weeks I am going to order an additional 100 copies of my book, Shouting at God, to be ordered directly through the book’s website. Ordering through the website is faster for me to receive profits, as any book ordered through Barnes & Noble, Amazon, etc…I only receive quarterly profits. If I can sell 100 copies through my website, after defraying the costs of shipping and printing, I will have roughly $800 toward my trip in April.
If you’ve read the book, or if you want to read the book, please consider purchasing the book through the website. Maybe you’ve read it and you have thought of people it would help and you want to buy them a copy – maybe you have connections with Hospice organizations and think the book would be beneficial for people in similar situations. Or, maybe you just want to have a copy for your own…regardless, please think about it.
